9/18-19: Troop 305 Camping/Rafting Trip - Contact Doug Mayne: committeechair@pack296cubs.org

9/24-26 Mom & Cub @ Camp Royaneh - Friday through Sunday “glamping” trip for moms and Scouts of any rank.

OCTOBER

10/13 Pack Meeting - Spirit of Teamwork - Carnival

10/2-3 “Tiger” Cub Safari @ Wente Scout Reservation (Makeup for current Wolves and Bears who were Tigers in April 2020 & 2021 and missed due to COVID). 

10/23-24 Cub Camping Connection @ Rancho Los Moches. New to Scouts or never been camping as part of Scouts? This is the event for you! 

10/30-31 Webelo-Ree @ Camp Herms - Open to All Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts.

11/10 Pack Meeting - Flags and Citizenship 

11/06 & 11/13: Annual Scouting for Food Drive & Collection

12/8: Pack Meeting - Knots, Maps & Compasses, Pinewood derby prep

12/11: Ice Skating Party @ Oakland Ice - 6-7pm

JANUARY 2022

1/12: Pack Meeting - Science Night - Zoom

1/10, 1/11 - Pinewood derby “Cut nights” at Montera Middle School. Come to get the large cuts of your pinewood derby car made.

1/15: “Scout Night” at Harlem Globetrotters. Tickets at ~1/2 price

FEBRUARY

2/9: Pack Meeting - Disability awareness

2/23 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm - Pinewood Derby Impound - See 2/9 email for details

2/26 @ 10am - ~1pm: Pinewood Derby at KaiserAir 8735 Earhart Rd, Oakland, CA 94621

MARCH 

3/9: Pack Meeting - Camping skills with Scouts BSA Troop 305

3/5 - Optional training / CPR certification for Scouting adults.

APRIL

4/13: Pack Meeting - Sports, games, sportsmanship

4/18- Camping trip planning meeting (optional)

4/22 - 4/24: Pack Camping Trip @ Hawk Ridge, Anthony Chabot. Friday camping optional, Saturday activities planned to begin at ~1pm. Campsite opens at 2pm on Friday.

4/30-5/1: Tiger Cub Safari @ Wente Scout Reservation. Open to current Tiger Cubs.

4/30: Crab Feed Dinner. Proceeds benefit our local council

MAY

5/11: Pack Meeting - Crossing Over. Presentation of Ranks. Please wear full uniforms.

5/15 - Oakland A’s Scout Day. We have secured a block of seats for the pack..

5/13-5/15 or 5/20-5/22 - Mom and Cub Camp. Open to all Scouts.

5/28, 8:45am-1pm - SF Flag Planting Service Project at the SF National Cemetery. Wonderful way to honor Memorial Day.

JUNE

6/21-6/24 - Golden Gate Cub Scout Day Camp 2022 at Golden Gate Park.
